Once my seasonal closet is organized I always do a good closet rummage. To see if I can translate my outfit dreams into reality. Or not.
I awoke the other day, and just like that, it was fall. It’s taken me somewhat unawares. So I’m planning some emergency transitional outfits.
November means the end of sweater weather. Usually. Except for a few sunny, warm days this week when it was sweater weather again.
This week, my ongoing plan to wear what I own involves a five-year-old coat sweater. One I love and intend to wear more often. Hopefully.
I’m doing my fall wardrobe edit this weekend, my friends. At least that’s what I started out doing. But it didn’t quite go as planned.
Now that fall is upon us rugging up for lunch or dinner on a patio is essential. We want to be warm, but not too hot, and still look good.
I’m turning my closet today. A seasonal rite of passage. Storing spring and summer garments and bringing out my fall clothes.
I’m musing about fall 2020 this week. About crisp mornings and cool evenings. About new fall clothes and old friends.
It’s almost fall. Time for fall fashion, and for the kids and teachers to go back to school. Are you feeling fall-ish yet?
Now that we’re home from our trip, I’m excited to not be living out of a suitcase. And to be wearing all the fall colours in my closet.
